and said he would not be long

she waited and waited and waited

as she listened again for his song

he had said that he really loved her

but she really was not sure

would their love last forever

or would he leave again once more ...............................

and she waits and she waits and she waits

he never came ... always the story is the same ...

oh why does he treat her so badly this way

she turns and cries and runs away .....................................
