The Institute of Art and Archaeology of the University of Paris is housed in a truly magnificent building that is well worth a visit. Situated on rue Michelet and facing the Jardin des Grand Explorateurs, an offshoot of Le Jardin du Luxembourg this gorgeous building is a hop and a skip from Les Deux Magots, on Boulevard St Germain, which provided the world's best hot chocolate. Établie dans l'Institut d'Art et d'Archéologie de l'Université de Paris, construit par l'architecte Paul BIGOT entre 1925 et 1930, classé monument historique en 1996, l'UFR d'Histoire de l'Art et Archéologie de la Faculté des Lettres de Sorbonne Univeristé dispense en ces deux matières, un cursus complet allant de la première année au doctorat lettres.sorbonne-universite.fr/presentation-3024
