Oldham 297. My favourite amongst Crossleys 292-301.

Despite the poor record of the double deck Crossleys, Oldhams SD42 saloons had long and successful careers. As they were the only saloons in the fleet for over 14 years they were hard worked and high mileage machines. 297 was always my favourite as it always seemed a good bit quicker than its sisters.
