Magic at Callanish

The standing stones at Callanish date back almost 5000 years. Although they probably served a practical purpose rather like a calendar, many people of a more romantic nature may wish to believe that these ancient stones had some magical or mystical significance.

 

Here I have attempted to weave a little spell using Photomatix, Photoshop and Lightroom, on an otherwise bland pic taken at the stones a few years ago on my Canon Powershot A40.
