A figurehead of the electronic music scene for the past 30 years, the legendary producer Atom TM (Uwe Schmidt) – known under myriad pseudonyms (including atom heart) – presents the Canadian premiere of the audiovisual version of HD, his most recent creation. Released in March 2013 on the German label raster-noton, HD is quintessential Atom TM: a mix of pop, electronic abstractions and powerful rhythms.
