Fifteen seconds later, they stopped to have their photo taken with this guy. Now, I'm a mite irked. I follow them around for about 15 minutes and ask if I can take their photo. I get the same response of they have to run and find their friends. 50 feet later, they stop to have their photos taken. I counted this happen about three times.
These two "ladies" succeeded in doing something really hard to do - pissing me off. Yes, I took it personally. And I’ve learned that I should not have done so. Yes, it was a bit of a personal sting to my pride but maybe they really were running late to meet friends, grab some food, hit the bathroom, or something about me (looks, demeanor, camera equipment, dunno) just didn’t feel right. They were not my personal models and did not owe me anything. This is a somewhat bitter lesson to learn & im better for it.
Thankfully, one of my friends gave me some hand-crafted honeyed rum and that made me feel better.
