The Hellblazer

John Constantine, the Hellblazer. Kinda/sorta/maybe on the side of the angels but a totally manipulative wanker regarding using people to meet his goals.

 

I did a lot of post-production on this one:

greatly darkened the overall image;

added some grittiness/grunge (Topaz Adjust);

partially masked out the cosplayer to give him some grit and grime but not overly-so;

added in cigarette smoke for both Constantine and the skull (he had props that made it look like he had lit cigarettes) to lend some realism;

warped, partially erased, added in layer effects (outer & inner glows, gradient fill, inner shadow) to make the smoke look real but not obscure the skull or his face.
