We all know we're losing too much flora, fauna and insects - wildflowers are in the decline..............so what can we do? The answer is simple - we, that's you and me grow more wildflowers, let our borders run wild, forget manicured lawns. This is borage, one of the many wildflowers left to take over my garden.
According to an old article from the Guardian here in the UK we have lost 97% of our wildflower meadows since the 50's. I'm not a statistician - I'm numerically challenged - but however you look at it or however inaccurate the figures - that's a lot of meadows
