Sunrise in the Alps

I ventured out early one morning to lake Almsee in Austria to watch the sunrise above the mountains and to soak in the atmosphere of calmness and tranquillity watching nature waking up. There is still snow on the mountain tops in early April and heavy fog is hugging the lake, slowly lifting, as the sun begins to rise. The moon is still up and the whole scene is reflected in the calm, clear lake. A day couldn't start more beautifully!
