Jackdaw

Sometimes you have to work with what you've got.....for me its Jackdaws. I have these beautiful corvids visiting my garden all year, however its only this time of year I can get to photograph them due to the direction of the sun/position of the garden. This was taken when the sun shines down the driveway in the evening, between ours and the neighbors house.

 

I have fat ball feeders up most of the time, however for this shot I just put food in one location. Even then its a challenge as the neighbors on both sides are often in their gardens, as the sun is out......a little more disturbance. I just have to be patient. I am trying for the interaction of a pair in mid air fighting over the food tray. It will take some time, however here's hoping for some more action shots soon :) Plus for the weather to improve here in the UK.....I wont go on about this :)
