Structural detail at the Henninger Farm Covered Bridge.

Originally built around 1880, the Henninger Farm Covered Bridge, also known as Stroup's Bridge, spans Wiconisco Creek in Washington Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The bridge is 72 feet long. Arson heavily damaged the bridge in 2000 but it was rebuilt in 2003.

Historically, Wiconisco Creek boasted six covered bridges, and Dauphin County had a total of nine. However, flooding caused by Hurricane Agnes' remnants in 1972 destroyed all but three of the county's covered bridges. Henninger Farm Covered Bridge holds the distinction of being the only one remaining in its original location. Since a modern concrete bridge handles most traffic today, the Henninger Farm Covered Bridge is restricted to pedestrian use. Notably, the bridge's historical significance earned it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
