Commersons Dolphins leaping
Two Commersons dolphins leaping out of the water near Bertha's beach, East Falkland. We were walking along the beach when we saw the pair leaping out of the water in what looked like a hurdles race! They continued along for a few hundred metres, moving at quite a pace. This was very much a photo of opportunity, hence the framing not being centred.
I am very critical of this photo, mainly because I was annoyed that the battery in my EOS350D had just died and I had to switch to the reserve, a Powershot S30, rapidly to capture the moment.
