Brown Bear Cubs

We decided to spend Midsummer among the Brown Bears at the Finnish-Russian border. For three nights we sat in a small hide in the middle of nowhere and we had the time of our life! At the lake the bears were quite shy, but in the woodlands and the swamp we were surrounded by them from the moment we arrived. There were huge and impressive males, funny and curious youngsters, and cute and fluffy cubs, accompanied by their vigilant mother. It felt as if we found ourselves in a National Geographic documentary!
