a scandire fatica

di vita intarsiata

in rughe.

 

Ma l’ultimo raggio

di marzo

cresce

e non me ne andrò

ora

no, non ancora

 

le macchie gialle

tra il verde nuovo

mi riscaldano

nel risveglio di un colore.

I embrace silence

step by step

with veins in gray

and breathing

slow

to scan the effort

of life inlay

in wrinkles.

 

But the last ray

of March

grows

and I will not go

now

the yellow spots

inside new green

heating me up
