The Skye Bridge

this is a shot of the Skye Bridge showing the main span from Skye looking east to the mainland.

 

I had a plan for this shot which involved heavy skies, probably raining, high winds which would have moved the clouds across frame at pace and choppy waters which would have given milky white finish with long exposure. Basically I was looking for the mean and moody mono shot.

 

I get there and for once the day is sunny with not a breath of wind. The water is clam and transparent, the clouds are bright and fluffy and barely move. Where is the normally dependable crappy Scottish weather when you need it? Ah well! I tried to make the best of it so please let me know what you think.
