orange girl on a bike

Spent a dusty day photographing competitors in the Dunkeld Enduro mountain bike event. It was a very dull, grey day, and I found it difficult to capture sharp images of these fast moving athletes. The choice seemed to be either a high ISO (lots of noise), or using speedlights, (which slow the shutter speed down 1/320, which just didn't cut it! Any suggestions?
