Salvaging from a Mistake
To capture things inside of rides, I was using an external flash (for the sake of the infrared metering light, not being a tool with the flash) and really high ISO to capture things despite ride movement.
Getting off of a ride over Epcot's the Land (the Imagination ride) I saw these really interesting fountains with water jumping between the pools and nice cloud cover in the background.
I snapped the shot and was actually able to capture the water jumping in the air.
Later I realized my snafu. The camera was still set on a fixed 6400 ISO rating...
Which.. should have rendered this photo useless.
So, I decided to try to recover it, here's the result. Not terrible, I guess -- the smoothing from noise reduction is really evident but gives it a neat style.
Still. the 100 ISO version of this would have been pretty cool… /sadface
