A Metaphor For Life During the COVID-19 Lockdown

I found this quirky piece in a gallery* up in Crieff a good few years ago and bought it because it made me laugh. Some might call it a metaphor for how we’re all feeling right now – empty and a wee bit prickly – but I don't care; it still brings a smile to my face.

Camera: Zero 2000 6×6 (120) roll film camera.

Film: Fomapan 100 Classic 120 developed in Coronadol (AKA Beerenol), a homemade film developer made from Corona Extra, soda crystals, and vitamin C.

 

Coronadol developer recipe

- 500ml Corona Extra

- 50g soda crystals

- 12g Vitamin C

 

Development time: 15 mins at 25°C/77°F
