Abd Al Ramán III ordered the construction of the Alcazar in 913. It was a fortified palace which later became the residence of various monarchs.

 

Definitly one of the most impressive monuments of Seville.

It now is the residence of His Royal Majesty Juán Carlos when he visits the city.
