Perfect Purple Afternoon

As I was leaving Huntington Central Park the other day, I got excited when I saw this hummingbird fly over to the blossoms on this pretty tree..and snapped off a few shots. Earlier..on my way into the park..I had stood around for quite awhile hoping a hummingbird would visit..and had finally given up..glad he decided to visit on my way out!
