This scene depicts Ensign Robert Duncan defeating Japanese Ace Warrant Officer Toshiyuki Sueda in his F-6F Hellcat on October 5 1943. Sueda lost only because he underestimated the Hellcat's speed capabilities. The F-6F would go on to become known as "The Zero Killer".
