—————

“Matriarch MT-1 was our first Godengine, a Main Battle Walker reclaimed from the catacombs of the old world. And its pilot, Rebekah RS01.001, was our first Symbiote, a beloved Sister who volunteered for Commitment even while her body was whole. She was also my daughter. Together they represented years of work, and our first, best hope against the Adversary.

But we knew not then how fierce the pull of Hell could be on a single mind, even one as learned and powerful as Rebekah. To have lost them in battle would have been one sorrow. But for them to have become Malignant and turn against us… it strains my old heart. Years later, she continues to haunt our forces. Singularly, I find myself wishing for her demise yet fearful of the day I finally lose my child.

In the meantime, a new fleet of battle walkers, reinforced with our strongest chains of binding scour the flats. Seeking only her: Malignant Sister Rebekah, the Holy Unholy.”

Whew, months of work finally complete! This one went through three total rebuilds. The hardest part was moving into semi-organic design, as I tried to represent the physical corruption/possession of a machine. The enemy at last! Hopefully y’all enjoy it.
