Finnan Scotsman
The 'Royal Scotsman' luxury train crosses the famous Glenfinnan viaduct on its way to Mallaig. About 0930, 2nd August 2025. The train pauses here for a short while for the benefit of the passengers. I've tried this location a few times with 'The Jacobite' steam service but there are always about three million people under the tree trying to get the same shot. So an early-ish morning visit to catch this before The World and his Wife arrived was the thing to do. The sun's not quite far enough round at that time so the overcast conditions were beneficial.
