346: Clam Beer
So when I was out in Montana this summer, a co-worker introduced me to a local alcoholic delicacy. Take any regular American draught beer and pour it in a glass with a bit of Clamato. For those who don't know, Clamato is a mixer beverage concocted from tomato juice and clam broth. My buddy assured me that consuming the combined beverages would be like "drinking a steak".
I couldn't stand it the first time. But I tried it again a little later and it grew on me.
I don't recommend trying it for yourself, because there's a 85% chance you'll hate it. But if you feel a little daring, you could always give it a shot. Be warned though, don't buy the pre-mixed stuff that Budweiser sells in a can, it's not nearly as good as mixing it on your own.
Plus Budweiser sucks. Just sayin.
