309: This Old House
I'm back home again for the holidays. Back in June, our house was damaged pretty badly by a flood. The basement, seen here, took the most damage. We had to strip off the walls and the ceiling. A lot of things were ruined and tossed out, the remaining possessions now sit in the center of each room. Just about everything that could have gone wrong financially this year did for us, from the home to our cars. Our health was the one high point. I'm definitely ready to move on to 2009.
