90: Waiting for my real life to begin
I'll be moving out of Middlebrook either tomorrow or Sunday. For the first time in four years, it won't be my home here in the Twin Cities. I'm very excited about my new house and very ready to move on, but there will of course be fond memories of this place. I've pretty much reached the top of the ladder here, or at least the top of the building.
I'll be starting my job within the next two weeks. I still haven't gotten a lot of information from my employers about what exactly I need to be doing, and the ambiguity is making me more nervous. But I think I'm going to like it.
Anyway, the weather was lovely today and the view at dusk was, as you can see here, breathtaking. There was a sunset to the west and a lightning storm to the east.
As my favorite poem says, "With all it's sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world."
