65: Nocturnal State

My sleep schedule has gotten increasingly destructive over the last few weeks. Two weekends ago I was staying up all night for the trivia contest in Steven's Point. I spent last week going to bed at about 4 am on average. I've still been awake at sunrise two of the last three mornings, and now I'm posting this photo at 3:30 in the morning. I can't bring myself to get work done during the day and I'm paying for it at night.

My body seems to be holding up OK. I have more back aches than normal right now, but amazingly I got over a cold in less than a week. I'm actually capable of getting a lot of work done on very little sleep, as evidenced today. I spent all of last night writing a short story for class today. After taking a power nap from 7 to 9 in the morning, I finished it up and got it in. Then I enjoyed the weather, riding my bike a little and playing some football. I tested out my solo in Gospel Choir in front of the whole class this evening, went to an NRHH meeting (which I am on my way back from in this picture with Super Sancho), and got my creative writing homework for the next week done at Hard Times with Ben. Sure I was at Hard Times until 2:30 in the morning after sleeping only two hours the previous night, but crazy seems to be working for me right now.

I blame my dad for this. He works at a job where he switches back and forth between day and night shifts, turning him into an extreme night-owl. I'm slowly but surely becoming the same way. h00t.

It's been three weeks since my last b&w, so I decided to toss it in tonight.

P.S.: 300 days to go
