64: In which a squirrel steals my camera.

Absolutely gorgeous weather today. I had dinner with an old friend/girlfriend from high school. We had a very nice chat and it looks like things are really going well for her, which makes me happy. But this photo is not about that. I decided to bring my camera for the walk over. But I was a little tired so I stopped to take a nap by the union on my way over.

So I parked underneath a tree, stretched out and laid back. After a few minutes I drifted off. Imagine my surprise and pain when I woke up as I was hit in the head by my own camera. After cursing, I looked up and saw a squirrel sitting on the branch directly above me. It gave me a look as if it were laughing at me, and then ran along the branch and jumped into another tree. This little rodent had managed to get my camera out of my pocket while I slept and haul it up into the tree! As if to add insult to injury, it took this shot of me before dropping the camera on my face.

I swear, it really happened!

In other news, I have to write a creative non-fiction story for class tomorrow. Booooo.
