12: My Passion
I've been coming to the State Capitol a couple days this semester to gather research for my senior thesis. The paper will examine the impact of party politics in lawmaking here in Minnesota.
My major is political science, and it is a perfect fit for me. My classes all teach me about the different problems facing our society, why they are present, who they impact, and how they could potentially be repaired. Here in Minnesota, this idea of politics as a source for solutions rather than a source for problems is at its purest.
i want to be in politics because I want to help create solutions.
