2: Bits

I swear I'll start wearing more clothes as time goes by...

 

Ahh shaving. It is a love-hate relationship. I spent most of college wishing for nothing more than the ability to actually grow facial hair. I'm getting there now in my senior year. But certain areas of my face have decided to go on strike from growing, including those connector strips at the sides of the mouth. Until then, a full beard, such as that occasionally worn by holymacintosh, is out of reach.

 

That said, I'm thankful that I'm still not in need of shaving every day. The time needed to do so in the morning is not something I always give myself when I wake up. But there's something refreshing about the process when the time does come around. Sure I could get an electric and make it go much quicker, but going manual is a nice way to give yourself a few minutes to just breathe easy and focus on one task.

 

Side note: According to wikipedia, "shave and a haircut, two bits" is considered in some circles to be the shortest complete song. Who knew?
