String Art Dog

The idea was (and an idea without a lot of thought before hand, I admit) take this dark thread wad I found on the floor, drape it on a snow bank and then record (photographically) its disappearance into the snow as the sun warmed it more than the white snow. There IS a logic at work here, just not profound or even mildly interesting. Well, might be mildly interesting, an homage to the "Land Art" movement of my formative years.

Now THIS is where it really gets interesting and weird. . . (cue the Twilight Zone music). . . So I pull the wad apart and drop it as it appears in the photo (Feb.6, 2010 @ 2PM EST) all in one movement. NO, absolutely NO attempt to arrange it, but when I come around to the other side of the snow bank to take the picture, I see I have drawn the head of a dog. TOO Weird! huh?!
