Yashica: vintage glass bokeh

A mass emergence of Spencer's Burrowing Frogs (Platyplectrum spenceri) was witnessed at sundown and into the night after heavy rains inundated the sandy gorges cutting through the eastern Macdonnell Ranges near Alice Springs.

Image taken on a Canon EOS 5D Mark 3 DSLR coupled to a vintage C/Y mount Yashica ML 55/2.8 macro lens from the seventies with a third party adapter. Image shot wide-open and hand-held, with a touch of fill-flash. Apart from RAW conversion and basic editing, image shot as is.
