Bay-headed Tanager

Tangara gyrola

Commonly inhabits the canopy of humid forest, nearby clearings with scattered trees, semi-open areas and tall second growth forests. A very social bird, the Bay-headed Tanager typically forages in pairs or small groups that travel within larger mixed species flocks.
