Fat, Fat Water Rat or The Well-Manicured Muskrat

I think this might be a Muskrat although I can't say for sure that I've ever seen one before. This guy was munching on greenery in the reeds of a fresh water lagoon.

Does a vegan need such long and sharp claws? They're super alien looking.
