SS Rotterdam artwork, 1960s

A painting of SS Rotterdam by the Dutch book illustrator A.O. Kooyman in the book "My super book of ships in colour", published by Purnell, London, 1969. It used to be my most prized possession as a child.

 

Note the twin funnel design, which left a lot of space on the upper deck. This design was also used by the P&O liner "Canberra" from 1961.
