Heiner
Shot in May 2023 using 3D-printed wotsits (see 1st comment below) that allow using 35 mm film in a medium format camera, turning it into a sprocket rocket. It's rather pointless but also fun.
The statue to the Heiner was erected in 1995 in front of the "Goldene Krone", the only building (?) in the old quarter that survived the September 1944 bombing raid near-intact. It was built in 1681 and was a posh place before the war but now houses a rather dingy disco. I was taken there once in 1988 as sort of initiation rite (I was new to Darmstadt back then). I never went inside that place again and don't feel that I missed much. That just isn't my scene.
A Heiner is someone who was born in Darmstadt, lived there all his life and speaks the dialect. I don't qualify on all three counts.
Camera: Pentacon Six TL
Lens: Schneider Kreuznach Xenotar 80 km f/2.8
Ilford XP2 400 black&white 135 negative film
