Victorian Mansion in Los Angeles, shot on film in 2001/2
There are many of these in San Francisco, but they are few and far between in Los Angeles.
I originally thought that everyone in America lived in houses like this because they do in the movies. But only one day in LA disabused me of that notion.
This is the Hale House, originally built in 1885, now part of the Heritage Square Museum in Montecito Heights, Los Angeles, just north of Chinatown, together with some other 19th century mansions, most of which would otherwise have been razed to make room for shopping centres or other modern conveniences.
Apart from that open air museum, there are at least two places that I know of where rows of old houses still stand and are inhabited.
Camera: Leica R4 (10064)
Lens: Leitz Summicron-R 50 mm
Kodak Gold 100 consumer grade colour negative film
Developed in 2001/2002
