Contarex style

Zeiss Ikon Voigtländer Icarex 35S TM

The winder lever is reminiscent of the one on the Contarex. Otherwise, despite being a well-built camera, the Icarex suffers from offering too little, too late. It is symptomatic of the disarray that reigned in the management of the dying giant Zeiss Ikon.

The dial below the generously dimensioned winder lever serves to set the exposure time. The little cog at the base of the shutter button is used to set the film sensitivity, with separate displays for the selected DIN and ISO values next to it.

Canon EOS600D

Leica Bellows R (16860)
