Leica M1 and Color Skopar 21 mm

A strange experiment. An almost 60 year old camera with a modern lens mounted. Actually, I don't have another wide angle lens for the Leica M-Mount. However, the Cosina Voigtländer 21mm is very good, though, due to its diminutive size, it does lead to quite some vignetting.

The M1 is a strange camera. I can't figure out the point of it. It's called "the Forgotten Leica", and small wonder. Still, the M1 is strangely fun to use. With a very wide angle lens, you don't worry about the focusing and concentrate on the picture instead.

I have created a Flickr group for photos shot with and of this rare camera: --> Click
