Tusken Raider
Although I grew up with Star Wars and they are amongst my favourite sci-fi films of all time, I have deliberately steered away from making any Star Wars custom figs, as Lego already make so many good figs in this line.
However, I think this particular character lends itself well to my style and I'm happy to have a custom Star Wars fig in my collection at last!!
The fig is made from scratch, using loads of fabric for the robes and head bandages. The pouches are sculpted from FIMO, with the staff being created from a mixture of plastic rods, FIMO and a tiny bit of Styrene.
Finally, I opted for carving directly into the hands instead of sculpted on top.
