A Bee Fly portrait

A Bee Fly of the family Bombyliidae. I particularly like these ones as they have a very dignified, almost badgerish type of face.

 

They seem to be very gentle nectar and pollen feeders and don't follow the nasty habits associated with other types of fly.

 

There are literally hundreds of genera of these flies and I am not particularly sure into which this one fits.
