One Love Manchester

Yesterday, 4 June 2017, the One Love Manchester concert took place at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Emirates Old Trafford ground to honour those killed or injured in the recent terrorist attack on the city.

 

The concert was organised by Ariana Grande, whose last appearance in the city was the target of the ttack.

 

 

Music stars from around the world entertained the fans over an evening filled with high emotions.

 

The event raised funds for We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

 

Greater Manchester Police officers were joined by officers from forces across the country to provide security for the event and the Michael Carrick Testimonial game which drew huge crowds to Manchester United's Old Trafford ground.
