Lightning
This is pretty much the only shot I got of the lightning storm last night. I worked during most of it and as I drove home to grab my camera gear i realized one important thing: I have no idea where to go in SLC to get a good lightning shot. So I went to the closest & best place I knew. The trail head right next to parleys canyon (off 33rd south). I originally thought It would be cool to get lightning over the valley, but I soon realized the lightning was happening behind me. so I turned around and snapped this shot.
