S. salamandra alfredschmidti

There is a small location in Spain where Salamandra salamandra shows color polymorphism. Here we can find a whole range of morphs, going from whole black (as the one on the pic) to whole yellow (coming soon :3) with brownish forms in between.

Unfortunately, as soon as the new subspecies was announced, illegal catchings were performed to satisfy the demand for the illegal pet trade *. Preventing this is a must. This tiny and irreverent newt population must be protected, so we can go there in future generations and still see them!

In this link we can see a post in Caudata.org where a proud owner of a couple alfredschmidti shows us 5 new babies....so beautiful but...how the hell did that couple alfredschimditi reach his home? This must be stopped!
