Hanging Out In the Shade
Some have been asking, and hear's the answer. I've been doing very little photography this spring and summer after experiencing chronic recurring conjunctivitis since March. Latest episode lasting from June 1st thru July 8th. Many Drs.' visits with many "try this" treatment suggestions to no avail. I had asked that a sample for the lab be taken at each of my appts. to help with diagnosis - with each new appt. and Dr. - Primary Dr., Allergist, and Ophthalmologists. Apparently, that's not the "protocol" these days which probably means insurance doesn't pay for it. But it does mean more expense and aggravation for patients. It was also strange to learn that my regular Ophthalmologist doesn't see patients for conjunctivitis, and I had to find another one that would. Thankful to have had a WHOLE week - free from symptoms.
