It's been a while
In fact, this was the longest absence from Flickr I ever had and if none of my friends remained I'd fully understand.
A lot of things have happened while I was away (as in "away from Flickr"). Some negative and some positive.
And I got a new camera to help me spark my drive. I got this camera back in March but of course it didn't go *boom* "your motivation is back".
I took several pictures before these and I might even share some of them but as I wanted to start with "something to show" I thought I'd start with pictures taken during a two week holiday trip from the Harz mountains to the Baltic sea.
So, after all this let's start with the first stop. Goslar
"Goslar is a historic town in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is the administrative centre of the district of Goslar and located on the northwestern slopes of the Harz mountain range. The Old Town of Goslar and the Mines of Rammelsberg are UNESCO World Heritage Sites." (Wikipedia)
One of the most notable things about Goslar is the abundance of half-timbered houses.
Oh, and thanks, if you're still around. Katrin
