String theory

This is a single rapidly gyrating string.

 

As it's a science museum of course there are some "stations" like this one.

I liked it a lot. Although for viewing purposes I turned the pictures clockwise. The string is fixed at the ceiling and at some mysterious moving thing near the floor.
