City of Vancouver Panorama with sunset

For many years I have wanted a panorama photo of the City of Vancouver's skyline at sunset. Earlier this spring I finally was able to secure the perfect location for this shot and I mistakenly thought that one image with a wide angle lens would suffice. I was so wrong. This is where a panorama photo is essential. I was able to get back to the location in the summer where I shot numerous series of 12 exposures each while the sun was setting.

 

This image of the downtown core of the City of Vancouver under a sunset is a 12 exposure panorama photo of the Vancouver skyline. The finished size is 28,000 pixels wide, or 20,000 in this cropped version. It could be printed on a billboard with excellent resolution.

 

I have been sitting on these images for months because my computer was too slow to process a massive file of this size. One computer upgrade later, and I was finally able to complete the processing.
