Burgplatz Duesseldorf
This castle tower is the only building-part that remained from the old Düsseldorf castle. Today it is an eye-catcher at the centrally located castle square (Burgplatz), right on the banks of the Rhine River. The castle tower now houses a maritime museum.
To the left of the castle tower you can see the old St.Lambertus Church with the twisted church steeple. A picture of the interior I've posted yesterday.
