Right, time to broach an uncomfortable subject here.
Everyone accepts that if they go to protests and don't mask up, they'll get photographed. The police do it, the media do it, fellow protestors do it. But there are certain sites out there where a few right-wing losers post pictures of 'reds' and fantasise about beating them up. It's all rather sad and pathetic, especially since they tend to focus on old women and preteen kids, but it's also a bit threatening to some members of the left.
So, as a general rule, if you go around acting really dodgy with a camera, people are going to get edgy. Take zoom-shots of lots of people's faces without asking and they'll get edgy. Focus on distinguishing features and they'll get edgy. Even if you are some right-wing nutjob, just try to act normal, ok?
And if any of the pictures taken by this particular gentleman do turn up on certain websites then his face will be up on certain other websites...
